Update: Missing boy found safe in Sarnia

UPDATE from the Sarnia Police:The Sarnia Police Service would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming response to locate Cameron Smith.

A citizen heard of the missing boy through our social media plea and reported his location to police. Cameron is now on his way home.

Thank you to everyone who shared the information regarding this incident. This is another great example of the community and police working together.

Original story: The Sarnia Police Service is seeking the public’s help to locate a missing boy.

Cameron Smith, 8 years old, was last seen at 3:00 p.m. Sunday July 19, 2015 when he left his home on Exmouth Street to ride his bike at Norm Perry Park a short distance away.

He was wearing a blue soccer shirt, dark shoes and a blue bicycle helmet with horns. His bicycle is orange and white in colour.

Norm Perry park is located at Exmouth and Christina Street.
