Nick Steward drove four winners at Dresden Raceway on Sunday as the track celebrated eight men who helped start and make Dresden Raceway what it is today.
Steward won with ACTON REAL FOOLISH, SANDBURG HANOVER, JIMCAMPBELL and M G IDOLE giving him 25 wins on the year and a lock on the driver’s title at Dresden Raceway.
The Racetrack honoured eight former Dresden Raceway horsemen and managers who built the small half mile track to a great place for a family to spend a Sunday afternoon.
George Deacon, Jack Martin, Ray Unsworth, George Langstaff, Lorne Johnston, Levi “Jiggs” McFadden, Wilf Duford and Ron Stevens were all honoured for the contributions they have made to Dresden Raceway on and off the track.
The total handle today at Dresden Raceway was $17,948.
