Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Technological Crime Unit and the Lambton County OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Petrolia man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On August 5, 2015 police executed a search warrant at a Petrolia residence. As a result of this investigation, eight computers were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
On August 5, 2015 police arrested Wolfgang Arndt, 58 years-old of Petrolia, Ontario.
He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count each of Make Available Child Pornography and Accessing Child Pornography.
The accused will appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia, Ontario on August 6, 2015.
The investigation is on-going.
