Police are seeking information after a Wallaceburg woman was defrauded by two suspects for a large sum of cash.
On July 30, 2015, two men attended a residence in Wallaceburg and offered to do home repairs for cash.
The elderly woman agreed and placed a quantity of cash on the table to pay them.
As one of the men walked around the house outside with the woman to talk about the repairs, the other man entered the home and stole the cash on the table and a safe containing a large sum of money and personal documents.
The men stated they need to get supplies and would return in 20 minutes, however they never did.
The first man was white, 5’4”, with light brown curly hair.
The second man was white, 5’8” with short dark brown hair.
Both men appeared to be 30-40 years of age.
They were driving a black pick-up truck.
