Sarnia Police continue to investigate the death of Raynold Fisher, 42 of Sarnia.
Mr. Fisher was found in an unconscious state on Wednesday the 5th of August 2015 on the roadway on Vidal St. around 10:15 p.m.
He subsequently succumbed to his injuries in Victoria Hospital, London where he had been transferred in critical condition.
Sarnia Police received information that turned this into a suspicious death investigation, and on Saturday the 8th of August members of the Criminal Investigation Division assisted by the Emergency Response Team arrested an adult male for the murder of Mr. Fisher.
The male is in police custody awaiting a bail hearing. Police continue to investigate and are asking any persons with information to call Detective Sergeant Leo Murphy at extension 6142, Detective Sergeant Dwayne Whelpley at extension 6151 or Detective Constable Mike Kahnert at extension 6196.
