John Douglas Eglin of Windsor and formerly of Wallaceburg, died peacefully in Windsor on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the age of 94.
John is the son of the late Chester and Alice (Humphrey) Eglin. Beloved husband of the late Florence Charlotte Gifford (2012). Loving father of Dianne Burrage (Steve) of Woodstock and Doug Eglin (Elizabeth) of Tecumseh. Dear grandfather of Charlotte, Alana, John and Deanna. Brother of the late Jean Oliphant, Pearl Smith and Charlie Eglin. John was the co-owner of Keystone Transport Company in Wallaceburg.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 6:30 – 9 PM on Thursday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, August 21 at 11 AM. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
