James Cudney

cudney0000001A2CUDNEY: James Junior age 77 of R.R. # 7 Thamesville passed away Tuesday August 18, 2015 following a lengthly struggle with Parkinsons.

Born in Chatham, son of the late James W. Cudney and Suzanne (Charron) Cudney. He was the dearly loved husband of Edna (Como), his high school sweetheart wirh whom he shared 53 wonderful years. Beloved father of Cathy Delaurier of London, Connie Cudney of Tilbury and Randy (wife Deanne) Cudney of R. R. # 6 Thamesville. Proud, loving Grandpa of 6 grandchildren, Kieran and Kristen Delaurier, Keegan, Kohen, Kelton and Kaelen Cudney. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Barb and Andy Forget of Chatham, Mary Sue and Wayne Turner of R. R. # 7 Dresden, Gregory Blonde of Chatham and Marjorie Cudney of Chatham. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Prdeceased by a sister Bernice Blonde and brothers Maurice and Murray Cudney.

Jim was a life-long Chatham Township farmer who enjoyed his grand kids, classic cars, dances, nature, woodworking and solving mechanical challenges. As were Jim’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A private interment in Dresden Cemetery will follow at a later date.
