Mr. David “Howard” McCreary a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg, at the age of 85 years. Son of the late David Owen and Bertha Irene (Sykes) McCreary.
Beloved husband of the late Beverly (Maycock) McCreary. Dear father and father in law of Ross (Michele) McCreary, Lynn McCreary, Lorne (Wendy) McCreary and Cheryl Lauwereys. Loving grandfather of Levi, Owen, Samantha, Mark and Renee.Kind brother of Helen (Glen) Lawton of Chatham and brother-in-law of Donna (Ralph) Curtis of Coburg. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, September 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday from the funeral home at 11 am. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. James Anglican Church may be left at the funeral home.As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Howard McCreary.
