Reports say a body has been found during a massive police search around Parkwood Hospital in London on Thursday.
Police say the identity of the body has not been confirmed, but reports say the search has been called off.
Const. Ken Steeves of the London Police Service told the Sydenham Current earlier today that multiple police agencies had been searching for 68-year-old Frederick Sutherland of Wallaceburg, who had been missing since Monday.
Sutherland was last seen at approximately 12:55 a.m. leaving Victoria Hospital in London alone and before being discharged.
Reports say he had been at the hospital receiving cancer treatments.
The London Police were working in coordination with the London Fire Department to search ponds on the Parkwood Hospital property along with utilizing the OPP helicopter for an aerial search their Police Auxiliary in their search efforts, along with hospital security and other volunteers.
He said police were also working with the as well.
