Mr. Allan McPherson, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 82.
Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 5, 2015 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Ray Lawhead, Celebrant. A Legion Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon and Knights of Columbus prayers will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Cremation will follow with a private family graveside service at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Allan McPherson.
