Jordan Durston signs with Vancouver Stealth

The Vancouver Stealth announced on Tuesday that seven players the team selected in the 2015 National Lacrosse League (NLL) entry draft have agreed to one-year contracts for the 2016 season, pending league approval.

This includes Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston.

“Being drafted and signing a contract with the Vancouver Stealth is an absolute dream come true,” Durston told stealthlax.com. “I have always wanted to play in the NLL for as long as I can remember, and for Vancouver to allow me an opportunity to play at the professional level is truly a blessing.”

Durston and the other draftees will be among the players invited to Stealth training camp. which begins in late November.

Durston was the 19th overall pick in the draft, going in the second round to Vancouver.

The Stealth open the 2016 schedule at the Langley Events Centre on January 9 against the New England Black Wolves.
