Mrs. Judith Lynne Schmidt, a resident of Courtright, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Bluewater Health, in Sarnia, at the age of 72.
Judy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and was a daughter of the late Iris and Anna (Campbell) Tyson.
Beloved wife of Edwin Schmidt.
Loving mother of Lisa Schmidt of Michigan and Ed (Stacey) Schmidt of Wallaceburg. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Layne, Charlye and Rilynn. Kind sister of Ron (Mona) Tyson of Montana and Diane (Larry) Schmidt of Indiana. Also sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Jean, Pat, Janet and her brother James.
In her spare time, Judy loved crafting including sewing, making quilts and crocheting. She also enjoyed the fall colours and road trips.Judy worked at Franklin Electric for 13 years and CTS for over 3 years.
A Celebration of her Life will take place at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Ontario on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 1 – 4 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Judith Lynne Schmidt.
