P.A.W.R’s story of a dog named Falcor who needs your help

P.A.W.R received a call from a property owner whose tenant had been evicted. When they went to assess the condition of the house they decided to check the barn as well. What they found left them shocked and heart broken. A large white dog, locked up in the almost completely dark barn, starving, terrified, dirty and flea covered.

They called P.A.W.R and when they arrived it was clear the poor dog was almost completely blind but appears to be only a year or so old.

He did not understand how to walk on a leash nor what petting and affection was. They took him straight to our vet for a much needed bath, flea treatment and check up.

P.A.W.R will know more today about the issue with his eyesight. He is now in foster care, learning very quickly about what love and care is all about.

It was decided to name him Falcor (for his resemblance to the dragon in the Neverending story!)

If you want to help Falcor P.A.W.R has posted a fundraiser here:

Finally clean and in foster care! A glimmer of hope in his eyes.

Flea covered and dirty as can be, Falcor isn't so sure about his first bath
