After two losses over the weekend, the Dresden Kings have lost seven straight games in the Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Hockey League.
They are also winless in their last nine.
Wheatley came to Dresden on Friday and walked away with a 5-1 win.
John Montgomery opened the scoring for the Kings, but it was Dresden’s lone marker in the contest.
Dresden lost a close game on Sunday against Amherstburg, 5-3.
Derrick VanEvery, Kevin Ritzer and Dillon Liberty all scored for Dresden in a losing effort.
Dresden will host the same Amherstburg squad on Friday night at Dresden Arena.
