Pumpkin carvers recognized in Port Lambton

The Down River Junior Optimist Club in Port Lambton held a pumpkin contest for area youth on Monday October 19th.

Over 20 contestants entered the challenge to carve that special pumpkin for Halloween.

Pictured with the winning jack-o-lanterns are (left to right) Club president Caleb O’Leary, winning carver Logan Delisle, Vice President Tate O’Leary and winning caver Jaxon Jacobs.

The Junior Optimists meet the third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Port Lambton Community Hall.
