Mr. Joachim “Joe” Karl Willy von Wuerzen, a resident of Wallaceburg, Ont. passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at L.H.S.C. “Victoria Campus”, in London, at the age of 75 years.
Joachim was born in Hamburg, Germany and was a son of the late Willy and Elizabeth (Dietrich) von Wuerzen. Sadly missed by his partner James McCulloch. Loving father and father-in-law of Birgit (John) Klintworth and Frank McPhee. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Wilhelmiene Buchnach, Glenn (Colette) McCulloch, Cameron (Siobhan) McCulloch, Heather (Siegmar) Buschhaus and Maureen (Sheri) McCulloch. Former Husband of Lotte (Parr) von Wuerzen. Joachim is predeceased by his daughter Manuela McPhee, his brothers Gunther von Wuerzen, Manfred von Wuerzen, and Heinz Dietrich and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Dorothy and James McCulloch.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. As per Joachim’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. with the service following immediately at the funeral home.
