The Wallaceburg Tartans senior boys football team is heading to the LKSSAA senior eight-man football championship, after running over McGregor in Friday’s semi-final.
The Tartans rushed for over 500 yards and didn’t attempt a pass in a 62-44 win in Chatham.
Simon Yazbeck scored four touchdowns, Jacob Broad scored three and Trevor Bogaert and Parker Gilhuly each scored TDs as well in the victory.
The St. Clair Colts beat the Blenheim Bobcats 35-7 in the other semifinal last week.
Wallaceburg will travel to Sarnia to face the Colts in the final on Saturday, Nov. 7.
