Drug trafficking charges laid on Queen’s Line

On December 5, 2015 at approximately 9:00am members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service were at an address on Queens Line.

Police located a parked vehicle with two occupants.

One of the occupants, a 50 year old male, was known to be on house arrest for prior criminal offences.

While conducting the investigation police also located controlled drugs and associated drug paraphernalia.

Both the 50 year old and the 30 year old male were arrested and charged with two counts of Possession for Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The 30 year old was later released from Police custody with a future court date of January 7, 2016.

The 50 year old male was held in custody for a bail hearing.
