I’m so looking forward to the New Year, 2016.
I don’t want to look back on 2015, because everyone else does that.
It was a very good year, for me especially, in so many ways, but… here are some “Wishes and Hopes for 2016”:
I hope that everyone here adds AT LEAST one more volunteer activity to their year…so many groups and so many people need help. I will be.
I hope that closed minds (political, social, sexual and otherwise) will show more tolerance of diversity in thought and action.
I hope that people will help make this place a better one to live in. It CAN happen!
I wish that climatology and weather forecasting would become more accurate! 🙂
I wish that someone would invent a fitted sheet that a man could actually fold properly! 🙂
I wish that every abandoned animal this winter would be rescued.
I hope to NOT have to use my snowblower this winter… 🙂
I hope that at least a FEW restaurants in town stay open! We’ve lost a bunch!
I wish that change wasn’t so scary for so many people.
I hope that religious strife will end.
I wish to, wish all who read this… A VERY VERY HAPPY 2016.
May it start well, continue very well, and end even better!
