Seth sent back to the AHL

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has been sent back to the AHL.

Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced on Saturday that the club has assigned Griffith, along with forward Alexander Khokhlachev to the Providence Bruins and has recalled defenseman Colin Miller.

Griffith skated in two games with Boston since being recalled on December 29, tallying one assist and a -4 rating.

Last year, Griffith skated in 30 games with the Bruins, scoring six goals and adding four assists for 10 points.

The 22-year-old has played in 24 games with Providence so far this season, totaling 10 goals (tied for first on the team) and 17 assists (first on the team) for 27 points.
