Around 2:45 a.m. this morning, police responded to a collision on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.
The man struck a parked car causing approximately $13,000 damage.
Through investigation, the officer believed the man was driving his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
The man was transported to police headquarters for breath tests.
A 23-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
He was released pending a future court date of January 29, 2016.
