The Vancouver Stealth started their 2016 season in the National Lacrosse League on Saturday night, but their lineup did not include Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston.

The rookie forward for the Stealth was a healthy scratch in the team’s home opener, as they got blown out by the New England Black Wolves 17-7.

Durston was the 19th overall pick in the 2015 NLL ENtry Draft, going in the second round to Vancouver.

He was the only Stealth draftee to crack the roster with Vancouver.

Vancouver’s next game will be on Friday, January 15 in Saskatchewan to take on the Rush.
