Mr. Gerald “Jerry” William Armstrong, a lifelong resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the age of 76.
Jerry was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Frank and Hazel (Houle) Armstrong.
Beloved husband and best friend of Jo Ann (Krantz) Armstrong.
Loving father of Jody Armstrong, Jay (Robin) Armstrong, Janet (Rich) Verwegen and step sons Ric (Shelley) Aarssen and the late Rob Aarssen.
Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his sisters Joyce Armitage and Terry Ann Campbell and his brother Cliff Armstrong.
Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 2-6 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 25, 2016 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Chris Gillespie, Celebrant.
Cremation will follow.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Multiple Sclerosis may be left at the funeral home.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Gerald “Jerry” William Armstrong.
