As the work week winds down, many people look forward to Friday and the weekend that lies ahead. However, a trio of Wallaceburg women have even more to look forward to after today.
Margie Laprise, Laurie McCallum and Rose Hainer each worked their final shift on Friday, January 22 at Rexall Pharma-Plus in Wallaceburg.
The pharmacy technicians all accepted exit packages and will be entering retirement.
The three woman are recognizable faces in the pharmacy at the downtown Wallaceburg location and have a combined 82 years experience at Rexall, formerly known at Jackson’s Pharmacy.
Laprise retires with 35 years of experience, McCallum with 25 and Hainer with 22.
Management held a pizza and wing luncheon for the three women in celebration of their retirements.
