A Wallaceburg man is in hot water after being caught drunk at the Retro Suites in Chatham.
At 2:38 a.m. Sunday morning, police attended the Retro Suites hotel in response to a disturbance.
A man had been involved in an argument with a woman in one of the rooms and hotel staff were attempting to remove him from the lobby.
Upon arrival officers located the man and learned that he was bound by a variety of conditions that included house arrest, not to consume alcohol, and to be in the company of his surety.
That man was found to be intoxicated and not in the company of his surety.
A 28-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with three counts of failing to comply with a recognizance and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
