“As a community we all came to agree that our local shelter is too old, too small and in a state of disrepair.
Now comes the time to do something about it. No more complaining, no more protests, it’s time for action!
The Friends of the New Animal Shelter are actively fundraising to built a new facility.
This building will be owned by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and ran by whoever holds the Animal Control Contract for the area. 2 million dollars need to be raised for the shovels to start digging, so are you in?
If everyone in Chatham-Kent donates $20 the building begins! ”
