Mary Lou Sutherland (nee Babcock), a resident of Wallaceburg, as a result of a fall died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the age of 88.
Mary Lou is the daughter of the late William and Muriel Babcock. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Donald Sutherland (1984). Loving mother of Eric Sutherland. Dear sister of Lorraine MacDonald (Dean) and the late Betty McFadden, Edith Douglas, Dolly St Croix, Norma McFadden, Ruth Anne DeCaluwé, Roger Babcock, Grace Dubois and James Babcock. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to thank the Wallaceburg first responders as well as the doctors and staff at CKHA, Chatham.
In keeping with Mary Lou’s wishes, a private family service will be held with interment at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. Arrangements entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
