Last week, police received three counterfeit $50 bills from two local businesses in Chatham.
The counterfeit bills had serial numbers of JJ20131022A and JJ20131093A.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service reminds everyone that at first glance, a good counterfeit looks real, but if you know what to look for and feel for, it only takes a few seconds to detect a fraudulent bill.
