OPP officials allege: Search efforts are ongoing to locate a missing swimmer in Lake Huron near Pinery Provincial Park in Bosanquet.
Ontario Provincial Police said members of the Lambton County detachment received a report just after 1 p.m. Wednesday of a missing 28-year-old individual from Scarborough, who was last seen at the beach at Pinery Provincial Park.
Two OPP vessels continue the search, along with the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit and OPP Aviation Services, police said.
The OPP thanked the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and Anishnabek Police Service for their assistance in the ongoing search.
