Seth Griffith atop the AHL scoring race

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith continues to dazzle in the American Hockey League this season with the Providence Bruins. The 23-year-old sniper is now leading the entire AHL in scoring.

Griffith has registered 57 points in 43 games for Providence this year, and he is now tied with Chris Bourque of Hershey Bears for tops in the league.

Griffith has scored 18 goals and has a league-leading 39 assists.

Earlier this month, Griffith participated in the AHL All-Star Challenge and scored in the round-robin of the tournament style event.

Griffith has skated with the Boston Bruins in the NHL for two games this season, recording one assist in those two games.

He missed the beginning of the season, after injuring his knee in Boston’s preseason opener.

Griffith scored six goals and added four assists in 30 games for Boston last season.
