$20,000 worth of meth seized

The Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Unit. with assistance of front line officers, arrested a 55-year-old Wallaceburg women and a 46-year-old Raleigh Township man after a traffic stop was initiated on Communication Road south of the 401.

Around 2:30 p.m. on March 3, officers stopped a Chrysler 300M and through investigation located and seized a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine.

The officers seized six ounces of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $20,000.

The two accused were transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters pending a bail hearing on Friday March 4, 2016.
