A long-time Wallaceburg entertainer was crowned at the winner of the Wilmar Electric Ltd. Senior Star Search on Friday night.
Bill Thibeault finished in first place out of 12 contestants at the finals held at the CBD Club in Wallaceburg.
“It never ceases to amaze me,” said Earl Holley, one of the event organizers and the MC of the event.
“The talent that shows up for our contests at the CBC Club… (the) finals saw 12 of southwest Ontario’s finest take to the stage before an overflow crowd.”
Thibeault finished in first, followed by Chatham’s Liz Colby in second and Blenheim’s Ms. Marina in third.
“A big thank you goes out to all the contestants, the volunteers, and the audience for making the Wilmar Senior Star Search a huge success,” Holley said.
