SPACIL: Charles Joseph age 87 of Chatham formerly of Dresden passed away Tuesday March 8, 2016 at Copper Terrace Nursing Home Chatham. Born in Chatham son of the late Martin and Antonia (Vsetula) Spacil.
Survived by his loving wife Emily (Myvalt) Spacil of Chatham, daughters: Shirley Stevens (Lee ) of Dresden and Virginia Somr (Russell) of Dresden, four grandchildren: Phillip Somr (Connie), Brent Somr, Linda Stevens (Anthony), Carrie Jibb (Doug) and eight great grandchildren, sister: Patricia Kocak ( Rudy) of Oungah, brother Frank Spacil (Mary Ann) of Florida, sisters-in-law: Mary Spacil of Ridgetown, Carol Segeren of Blenheim, brother-in-law Joe Venclik (Nellie) of Blenheim. Predeceased by brother John Spacil and brother-in-law Willy Segeren.
Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross St. Dresden on Friday, March 11, 2016 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. when the funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Linda McFadden officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
