On Sunday in the early morning hours, officers observed a pickup truck with no Ontario License Plate.
Police said the truck was believed to be involved in a recent break and enter.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the pickup truck failed to stop.
A brief pursuit took place, the vehicle stopped and two occupants fled on foot.
K9 Arry assisted in apprehending one of the occupants.
A 38-year-old Chatham man is charged with various offences.
Police are still looking into the identity of the second occupant.
