Despite the old saying, it appears there is such thing as ties in baseball.

Our most recent poll question asked our readers who they will be rooting for in the 2016 Major League Baseball season?

When it was all said and done, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit Tigers tied with 45 votes each.

It looks like the yearly debate over who is better will have to be settled on the field.

The Jays will be visiting Comerica Park and the Tigers on June 6, 7 and 8, while the Tigers will head to Rogers Centre in Toronto on July 7, 8, 9 and 10 – just before the All-Star break.

Here are the results of the poll:

Who are you rooting for in the 2016 MLB season?

Detroit Tigers 47.37% (45 votes)

Toronto Blue Jays 47.37% (45 votes)

Other 5.26% (5 votes)

Total Votes: 95
