March Break fun at the Wallaceburg Museum

The Wallaceburg and District Museum has been busy all week with FREE activities for children on March Break this week.

Sierra Vandamme, 3, Mya Vandamme, 6, Leah Barnier, 6, Emma-Lynn Wilbur, 7 and Abbigail Wilbur, 3, all participated in some crafts with an Easter theme on Wednesday morning.

Michelle Bissonnette, the curator at the Museum, said they will be showing a movie each day this week at 1 p.m. as well.

‘Epic’ will be show tomorrow, while ‘Matilda’ will be shown on Friday and ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’ will be shown on Saturday.

Bissonnette said kids can drop in anytime during the day to take part in the activities.

Also on Saturday the Museum is holding their annual Giant Indoor Garage Sale.

Many items will be available for purchase, and the event runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Wallaceburg branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library is also holding various March Break activities this week, and the Wallaceburg cluster of the Chatham-Kent Drug Awareness Council is showing ‘Inside Out’ at the Trinity Church in Wallaceburg at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
