A Wallaceburg woman is facing charges after a shoplifting complaint at Best Buy.
Chatham-Kent police say yesterday afternoon around 3 p.m. a woman attended Best Buy on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Police allege that the woman stole two D-Link network cameras valued at approximately $300.
Police were immediately called as the store alarm was activated.
Officers were given the physical description of the woman and her last known direction of travel.
At 3:25 p.m. officers located the woman and she was arrested.
Through investigation, officers learned that the woman was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for a previous shoplifting incident on March 19, at the Downtown Chatham Centre.
A 30-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.
She was released with conditions pending a future court date of April 12, 2016.
