The Chatham-Kent police have charged an elderly Blenheim woman, after a pedestrian was hit last month.
Police officials say on February 16, around 11:50 a.m. emergency crews responded to a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian on Talbot Street between Parr Street and Marlborough Street.
The pedestrian, originally from Woodstock but now a Chatham resident was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries.
The 39-year-old woman was transferred to London where she remains in hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, was treated and released from hospital.
This week, the driver of the Ford Taurus, a 94-year-old Blenheim woman was charged with careless driving.
She will be required to attend court on April 27, 2016.
