Tips being sought after WDSS break-in

A recent break-in to Wallaceburg’s high school is the Crime of the Week for Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers.

Officials say sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, unknown suspects entered the Wallaceburg District Secondary School and forced their way into several classrooms.

“The suspects rummaged through desk drawers, cabinets and closets removing several items including a Nikon camera, a UV laser, and 2 ACER Lap Top computers,” Crime Stoppers officials said.

The value of the items stolen is over $1,500, not including damages done to the school.

Crime Stoppers is seeking your help to identity of the persons responsible for this theft along with the return of the property to the school.”
