Snowy owls still hanging around

It appears some snowy owls are still hanging around the area.

Suzanne Kennedy snapped this photo of the bird near Tupperville on April 5.

Sydenham Current readers will probably remember a story we ran on March 6, featuring photographer Butch Dompierre who captured some amazing shots of the birds in the Wallaceburg and Mitchell’s Bay area.

The snowy owl is typically found in the northern Arctic region, however they do relocate to more southern regions in search of prey.
