On Tuesday night around 10:30 p.m. police responded to a disturbance on Selkirk Street in Wallaceburg.
A 16-year-old Wallaceburg youth was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself.
For her own safety, she was arrested and transported to police headquarters.
She was charged with being intoxicated in a public place and released when sober.
