The Knights of Columbus, Council 10873, in Port Lambton made a $1,000 donation to the St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia Lambton following an information session Wednesday night.

The lecture was sponsored by the Port Lambton Knights of Columbus, Sombra Optimist Club and the Port Lambton C.W.L. Maria Muscedere, Fund Development Manager, talked about what the Hospice can do to assist those persons with a life limiting illness and also what the Hospice can do to assist the family and support people during this trying time.

All of these services are free, with some of the cost being partially covered by government funding and the rest by donations from the public.
