Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg will be closed between St. Clair Parkway (Chatham-Kent road #33) and Highway 40 as construction takes place all week.
Municipal officials say all lanes will be closed from Monday, May 2 until Friday, May 6.
Local traffic is permitted up to the work zone.
People are being encouraged to use the posted detour: St. Clair Parkway – Langstaff Line – Highway 40.
The reason for the work is for road crossing replacement across the roadway.
