Running Creek Ministry will host author and speaker Joe Amaral for a two-day event later this month aimed at exploring the historical and cultural context of Scripture.
The free event is scheduled for June 26 and 27 at Running Creek Ministry, located at 29292 Running Creek Rd.
Donations will be accepted.
According to organizers, Amaral is “an influential speaker and bestselling author with 20+ years of studying Jesus through the lens of ancient history and culture. He brings Scripture to life with insight from archaeology, Jewish tradition, and firsthand experience.”
The weekend begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 26. Events continue Saturday, June 27, with a men’s breakfast and seminar beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The Saturday program will include praise and worship led by the Evangelistic Center Band, followed by two sessions with a coffee break in between. Organizers say seating for the breakfast is limited and those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by June 20.
