The Optimist Club of Sombra Township is hosting a free Safety Awareness Day for the whole family on Saturday May 28 at VanDamme Park in Port Lambton.
Kids are being encouraged to bring their bike and helmet as the OPP will be educating the young riders on proper cycling safety on our simulated course.
Also featuring safety displays by the local Fire department, Coastguard, EMS, Red Cross and more.
People are being asked to register at 10:30 a.m.
Start time is 11 a.m.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion and the chance to win prizes.
Free hotdog, pop and chips will be supplied by Optimist Club of Sombra.
