Peacefully at her home in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the age of 81.
Jeannette is the daughter of the late Harry and Hilda Okkema. Beloved wife of Neil. Loved mother of Yvonne Westra (Peter) of Ottawa, Diana VanderDeen (Ivan) of Simcoe, John Schenk (Pam) of Oshawa, Mary Ann Koiter (Bob) of Brantford, Gina Airey (Jason) of Sarnia, and Jim Schenk (Karin) of Milverton. Cherished grandmother of 20 and several great grandchildren. Dear sister of Tina, Ann, Harry, Henry and the late Arthur, Gordon and John.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service at Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church, 150 Bruinsma Ave. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11 am. Interment, Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
