Two arrested after domestic dispute in Wallaceburg

Two people were arrested yesterday morning, after police responded to a domestic dispute in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police officials say at this time, a woman reported that during the previous night she got into a verbal argument with her boyfriend.

During the altercation she was assaulted and threatened by her boyfriend and his mother while neither of them let her leave the residence when she tried to, police say.

Through investigation, the 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, two counts of uttering threats and forcible confinement.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The 56-year-old woman was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, uttering threats and forcible confinement.

She was released with conditions pending a future court date of July 12, 2016.

  1. Names Names we need names to be able to avoid being in contact with people like this. You guys rarely put out the names. Yet if it’s someone accused of an indiscretion with a child their pic is all over the media. ACCUSED! Yet found guilty in public opinion due to the media.
