TBT: Canada’s Centennial Celebration in Dresden, 1967

This photo was posted to the Dresden Virtual History Group by Sydney Goodreau.

Here is what Sydney had to say:

“In honour of Canada Day, here are some photos of Canada’s Centennial Celebration in 1967. The first two photos are of a Centennial tree planting in front of the Christ Church Anglican. The third photo is taken from the Centennial Supper at the United Church which used to be where the Badder Funeral Home is now. The fourth photo is of a new centennial sign placed on the Dresden Clocktower. Photos five and six shows visitors to the LK High School Centennial Program. And the last photo shows the Dawn Valley United Church centennial tea. Do you recognize anyone in these photos?”
