A loud crunch could be heard on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg after a large truck and a crossover vehicle collided.
Police and fire crews attended the scene of the crash, which happened around 9:20 p.m.
A silver crossover was heavily damaged in the front of the vehicle, while small parts of a large brown pickup truck were laying all over the street.
Sources say some of the people involved were sent to hospital.
The extent of the injuries are not known, however the people involved were spotted walking with emergency personnel after the crash.
The street was busier than normal, as dozens of residents were walking down to Kinsmen Park to watch the 10 p.m. fireworks show.
