Copper wire theft in Lambton

The Lambton OPP are looking for the public’s help after some copper wire was stolen.

On Monday July 11th, 2016 the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was requested to attend at a commercial property located on Churchill Line, Town of Plympton-Wyoming in relation to a break, enter and theft complaint.

Shortly after 8:00 a.m., the Lambton County OPP responded to a commercial business located in the 4500 block of Churchill Line, Town of Plympton-Wyoming. Upon arrival, police were advised that at some time over the past weekend, unknown person(s) cut and peeled back a security fence and entered onto the property. Once on the property, the unknown person(s) cut and removed approximately $5000 worth of commercial grade copper wire and fled the scene.

The Lambton County OPP is asking that if anyone with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this break, enter and theft or has knowledge of the location of this property, to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 882-1011, or their nearest police authority.
